The making of Golden Ember started with two flavors that naturally complement each other: the soft, floral sweetness of our Café Fleur Honey, harvested from coffee plantations in the hilly regions of Southeast Asia, and the earthy warmth of black ginger. Folded into rich dark chocolate, they create a truffle that’s smooth and gentle at first, then slowly deepens into a warm, grounded finish.
It’s not spicy, and it’s not overly sweet. It’s balanced, calm, and quietly warming — the kind of taste that lingers and makes you smile with every bite.

The Story Behind Golden Ember
The idea came during a honey tasting when the light, buttery tone of Café Fleur Honey ( Coffee Blossom Honey)met the earthy spice of black ginger. One bright, one dark. Together they created a flavour that felt grounded yet radiant, simple yet layered.
We named it Golden Ember for that quiet warmth that lingers, not a flame, but a glow. It’s a small reminder that calm can carry its own kind of energy.
This handcrafted batch is born from a heartfelt collaboration between Eat Honey Pretty and Kie Patisserie, blending the art of beekeeping with the finesse of patisserie craft. Each truffle is rolled, filled, and finished by hand — a true meeting of patience, skill, and shared passion for small-batch artistry.
