There are things you taste… and there are things you remember. We dare you with our honeymoon truffles with our honey bursting in the centre as you bite into it. The moon-ish shape, texture of the truffles with honey filling just gives us the aha moment. Known for its romantic and aphrodisiac connection, the chocolate is so suited to name it as honeymoon, and we feel like, voila! We nailed it.

The story begins not in a factory, but in the warm, fragrant kitchen of Kié Patisserie. Afternoon light spilled across marble countertops, dusting the air with the scent of cocoa and cream. Our honey,  liquid gold from the rainforest was waiting. But the moment we tried to tuck it into dainty bonbons, it misbehaved. It slipped past boundaries, flowed where it pleased, and refused to sit quietly in the corner like a polite filling.

Most chocolatiers would have called it impossible. We didn’t. We courted it. We coaxed and experimented until we found a way for the chocolate to hold the honey without dimming its light. The answer came in the form of a tender cocoa-dusted shell, cloaked in silky chocolate, each layer designed to cradle the tangy heart of kelulut honey not to control it, but to let it shine.

Bite in, and the shell yields with a soft sigh.

The honey surges forth, alive, aromatic, and joyfully chaotic — the kind of mess that drips onto your fingers and makes you grin as you lick them clean. There’s a sharp brightness, then a slow melt into deep, dark chocolate. It’s a conversation between opposites rainforest wildness in whispered dialogue with Parisian patisserie elegance. 

And that’s part of the magic. Each truffle is a fleeting moment, a little secret between you and the rainforest — with chocolate as the go-between. It’s not here forever… but it is here for pleasure.

Ingredients

• Dark chocolate 50% — smooth operator in cacao form 🍫

• Tualang, Gelam and Kelulut — separately in each truffles. In total quantity of 10 in each box

• Cocoa powder — dusting them off like couture 🌑

• Twilight Nectar Tualang raw honey — best tasting honey selected from remote terroir in the hilly areas
