Golden Soothe
Raw Gelam Honey
For gut, glow & golden calm

Floral, warm, and gently herbaceous, Golden Soothe is your go-to for gut balance, skin clarity, and soft calm. Harvested from Gelam blossoms along Malaysia’s east coastal wetlands, this honey hums with quiet healing. A daily spoon settles the inside and brings glow to the outside, like liquid gold with a therapist’s touch.

Gelam honey is a Malaysian honey from the flower of Gelam (Melaleuca cajuputi) tree that was collected and produced by Apis Dorsata bees. Our Gelam Honey is sourced from an area in the east coast of Malaysia, where there is a 4km area of wild Gelam Forests. There is no pollution in the area because the ground is sandy and it is not a significance area for farming and such. Being close to the seaside it receives plenty of hot sun which is not suitable for many plants except native trees.

Our search for gelam honey was a wonderful experience and it is almost like a walk through an enchanted forest. We had a taste of the gelam, it has the Kelat (bitter taste) with sweetness. The combination of those make the honey taste special and pleasant, easy to take. As you taste the honey, you will not miss the wild forest flavour and aroma and it is significant that it is sourced from a unpolluted area, as the sweetness of thr nectar persists. The honey also gives out a medium strong gelam tree aroma, typically if you consistently consume, you will notice the unique apis dorsata honey sweet and sour after taste.

Our limited source of gelam is due to the bloom season which occurs only twice a year. Despite it is lesser known to Tualang and Kelulut, Gelam is in its own league which sought after for its beautiful, and devoted taste.
